A Stikfas animation contest was held recently held on www.stopmotionmagic.com . Here are the two winning entries.
The winning animation was “The Mad Animator” by Ignis Draco and Godfrey Temple and the 2nd place winning animation “Make Some Friends” was by Grayden Laing. A big THANKS to Marc Spess from Animateclay.com who organized the contest!!

30 teams compete over 3 days to write, shoot and edit a 1 to 3-minute Stop Motion Film. 

This year holds the 2nd annual Trick17 Stop Motion Film Competition and it is being held on November 14-16 in Vancouver, Canada. Saizon has gladly agreed to be one of the sponsors for this challenging event.

But here's the catch!! Each team will be provided with a sealed Top Secret style category,  theme and inspiration package. With categories such as STIKAFS, CLAYMATION,  PAINTING or HUMAN and themes such as MUSIC VIDEO, MOVIE TRAILER and  FANTASY, animators and filmmakers will be challenged to work with familiar and  unfamiliar mediums, under the pressure of a 58 hour time restriction. These works will be judged by a panel of industry professional and all films will be screened at the Granville 7 theater and will be opened to the public.
